fabric preferences

So I am reading as much as I can about fabrics and comfort and weight ratings to see which material to get for a Darien from DH.
I am going single layer and my weight as of today is a shocking 215lbs. I thought I was 225 still as I don't look to have lost weight.(3 scales confirmed this weight)
my goal is to lighten my gear, but still feel safe using it. I was going to go 2.3 but now I can go lighter. my weight may climb again yet.
what have people used and liked as a safety margin and material?

Have you asked Randy (Papa Smurf)? He knows his products best. A hammock's construction helps determine strength as well as comfort. I have the impression that Dream Hammocks are extremely well built, so 1.9 oz might be fine for you (probably is), but go to the source.
