Good stuff! I'm going to wait and see how work is going before I decide how long and when I'll be out, but I will definitely do pre, post, or both. My truck can fit 5 hikers and a dog so if I do post maybe I can shuttle us back to PGFSP. I also may have a friend in another vehicle to shuttle me back after I drop off the truck NOBO. Can't wait to get out with everyone!

How is the post hike looking?

Looks like I'll be able to get off work for two days or so after MAHAA. Just trying to figure out logistics because it looks like I'll be hiking in as well.

Plan on leaving around Mid Morning on Sunday the 27th hike 10 miles to the James Fry Shelter Day 2 ( Monday) will hike to the Alec Kennedy about 8 miles or so. Day 3 ( Tuesday) will hike to boiling springs ( just a few miles) to where my wheels will be parked. Working on a location. But I believe it will be at the nearby Bucher Hill Parking area.

    Down hill trucker:
I will have my wheels at MAHHA on Friday the 25th.
I will be giving a ride into boiling springs for some hikers who are actually hiking into MAHHA from boiling Springs on Friday afternoon so that they can retrive their cars. That way I can pick up a free parking permit and leave my wheels at boiling springs on Friday afternoon and catch a ride back to MAHHA. Will something like this work for you?

I am in for the post hike to boiling springs. I would need a ride back to Pine Grove Furnace on Tuesday. I need to be back to work on Wednesday morning. If you could fit me in and get me back I would pay for gas.

I'll be heading back to baltimore if that helps anyone they are welcome to tag along.

I haven't been north of PGF in a while and I'm pretty excited to get out with you guys!

    I'm currently dehydrating food!
