Guesstimating around 8am, and wouldn't say zipping, as I killing time in wytheville as we speak. Don't have to be in Chattanooga till 8am Tuesday and then the truck is going in for repair

I would have liked to have tried going up to the bald, just to see what the winds were like, but I didn't have adequate gear or time.

I'd put skegs on the high molecular weight pac-a-pulk but the material was so stiff it wouldn't roll up for easy pack storage. The deer sled material thickness was perfect but the method of quickly attaching/detaching a skeg but also allowing a tight roll up didn't become apparent until tonight in my 'cage'.
But no single use item in the pack! So I've got this big piece of black plastic on top...other uses besides the obvious of pulking?
Wind break in the snow for the stove?
Improptu snow shovel?
It's all just a mental exercise, truthfully how many times a year would I use this...but the thought process helps keep dementia away right
I had one in IRAQ and should have kept it but I was headed home and all I could think about was momma and Pizza Hut...LOL.
Weighs 10 lbs but there is enough material to make two. Or, you can keep it at full length and give rides to your buddies when you get bored.
You can drag these over hot coals and still get where you need to go. The material will not tear.
