Tarpflys and Lash-it are my new favorite for guy lines and tensioning. 50 feet of this stuff with the fly weighs half of what I was using and takes up very little space too. On my Superfly I put a continuous ridgeline can't remember where the picture is and I'm at work right now but it goes over the tarp and allows the tarp to slide back and forth for adjustment but still puts good tension on the tarp as opposed to prussiks on a static line. My tarpfly on the ridgeline is threaded to the ring on one end of the tarp and I have a continuous spliced loop on the other end for the Dutch hook. Really wish I could find that diagram right now for you.

For my tie outs I followed Warbonnet's instructions to the letter only I used Nite-Ize reflective cord for my guy lines since I get a bit clumsy at 2am. Takes probably 3 minutes to pitch the tarp. I did try using the light plastic figure-9's on the guy lines but they take up too much room in the line bag and it's actually faster to do it like Warbonnet shows anyway.

I use this from whoopieslings.com. It is a single ridge line with a dutch hook spliced onto one end and a tarp flyz on the other. No nots and about as light as it gets for a continuous ridge line.

Warbonnet MJ Tarp is a great choice.

You are now on a slippery slope with your first set of Dutch Bling.

I have used all of Dutch's hardware and it just gets to be a matter of personal choice.

I find using a single ridge line for the tarp easier to use as I just string up the tarp line and then adjust the tarp placement over the hammock

I just made a 2 carabiner continuous ridgeline system this Monday. 35 feet of Dyneema guideline from Warbonnet, did a spliced line loop in one end and larks headed a Dutchware Titanium Ridgeline Biner. Then I put a prusik on the line with another larks headed Dutchware Titanium Ridgeline Biner . Easy to set up, adjust, quick and light. I prefer tarp flyz with a line coming out of either side. If you have multiple tarps and you want to move the suspension you can use Stingerz. I like lash it on the ridgeline and zing it on the tie outs. That way I can easily see the ridgeline coming out of the stuff sack and I don't trip over the tie outs.

You need to try them all, so contact Dutch and order the Dutch Sampler Set that comes in the felt-lined teakwood gift box.
