The under quilt was from a stick that hit it while I was sleeping and the top quilt was from the same night when I dropped my top quilt on the same stick (I destroyed the stick in the morning with great rage ) and I'm pretty sure no down escaped. I only noticed the incision because I look over all my gear when I get home before I hang it up.
