    Snoring

Sometimes I snore at home. But I ALWAYS snore in the hammock. Doesn't bother me much as I'm sleeping but I feel bad for my fellow hangers. My buddies are gracious and tell me the they don't mind, that it makes them feel safer because I sound bigger than anything else that might be in the woods. But I know that it could be disturbing to their sleep. Does anyone else suffer from this? Any recommendations for a cure?

Be the first one to sleep.

Have you ever heard yourself snore? Hmm? I think not ... they're all lying ...

... OK that's my theory and I'm sticking to the party line!

I tend to try to spread out.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Without my cpap machine I snore like a chainsaw without baffles. When I go camping (people that camp with me know this still camp with me) I carry extra foam ear plugs. PS every body allows me to camp with them because of my camp fire cooking skills.

Unless they are in the hammock with ya I highly doubt it matters. If it did they would setup 20 yards from ya (maybe they do).

I discovered if I use my buff to hold my mouth closed (mostly at least) it minimizes the snoring. I know this because my threat is less sore.

We generally stay 10-15 feet apart and the earplugs are out for all to use
