Okay what am I doing wrong?

I just got a new 10 ft hammock. It will replaced my grand trunk SBP as my main hammock. I got t set up today and I'm trying to get this poncho liner quilt I have been using to fit it right. I have attached some pictures of what's happening. It seems like the suspension for the UQ is getting in the way of the hammock which is causing my feet to want to fall out. I can get in and be diagonal fine without the quilt so what's the problem? Should I loosen the suspension? I'm just really frustrated with this and about ready to just get a down quilt. I hope y'all have some ideas

    Interesting! A couple of questions:
    1. How wide is your hammock?
    2. Are the side edges of the hammock floppy?

It's about 56 inches wide and I'm 6' even about 140Lbs. The edges aren't really floppy.

Is this a good amount of sag? I have never been clear on the 30 degree thing.

    Best guess:

    UQ too tight
Hammock needs a "Knotty Mod" to help foot end pull up.

Take the UQ off and make sure everything works without the UQ

It does work without the quilt. I think it is too tight but if I loosen it it get big gaps because the poncho liner is so heavy.
