Great! Glad it looks like there's some real interest in the alpine or snow camo patterns and that it's not just me chomping at the bit

If and when I do the alpine camo, I plan on splitting the lot to make BOTH sil and uncoated versions, so no worries. I'm doing the same thing on the first run of camo that I started this week. Can't have people running around with mismatched tarps and hammocks!

I'll try to post some samples as soon as I can.

Yes it's EXTREME camo. LOL. Haven't put it on just yet but I'm trying to get it up tonight. I'm going to go ahead and list it now so that orders can ship as soon as I get the material. Just started production, so I'm aiming to have it in ~3 weeks.

What is your hydrostatic head pressure measure at on your sil, and what is the final weight?

I was under the impression poly does not stretch. We used poly over nylon when i did car guts for a living. No seem stretch. Might not conform as easy. Probably just cause noone done it before.

I called RBR earlier today and said dude i waiting to buy for that camo. Ripstop dude your cool.

A common theme seems to be camo and I totally agree. I may have some exciting news on that in the next couple days, so stay tuned . What do you guys think of a white or Alpine type camo? e.g. White, black, gray, etc
I suspect white is a highly seasonal color along with alpine camo, which alpine camo totally gets my vote.

For coating consistency and general look and feel, this camo sil is almost identical to the solid color sil that we currently offer. Great stuff. If I can scrape together enough funds I'd also like to do this in Alpine as well. I'll post a sample of that as soon as I have it....

Looks great! Again, I think white/alpine camo prints may not move much when there is no snow on the ground.

I like mountain camo, not sure how many others would be interested:

Paler stealth colours would be nice. Like a light moss green etc..

Finished weights are 1.2-1.3 oz/yd^2 and 1.4-1.5 oz/yd^2 for the solid color and camo silnylon, respectively. The HH was measured on a sample of 5 at 1100mm for the solid color sil. That appears to be performing well, so I'm targeting the same HH on the camo sil.

Thanks a lot! Nice talking with you. On the silpoly topic, I'm currently getting some samples made for testing. I'm told it can be done for weights down around 1.2-1.4 oz/yd^2, but I have yet to hold it in my hands so I'll hold off on commenting too much.

True. South American summer marketing? The thing is that I haven't been able to find an alpine silnylon anywhere, so that makes me want it. Maybe it's because we've had a snowy winter here, I dunno.
