How's goes it? I'm Wes from Birmingham, AL. I'm an avid backpacker. I've not yet bought my first hammock yet, but I'm eagerly researching and saving for the purchase. Looking forward to learning some new tricks around here.
If anyone has any advice on deciding between a Dream Dangerbird and a Clark NX-150 (the two I've narrowed my search to) - please chime in!

As far as hammock choices, you can't go wrong with either of those. I have a WBBB, but for backpacking I use my DIY 1.1 gathered end. It's much lighter and more versatile. My hammock and DIY silnylon tarp is several ozs. under 2 lbs.
