Thanks for sharing your experience. Being a pulk sledder as well, I can appreciate your decision to change plans. Getting out and enjoying winter, coupled with making new friends and learning new things, definitely makes your trip successful.

Very cool Tom thanks for sharing. I LOVE Stratton pond. To bad you weren't able to make it. However it looks like you had fun either way.

Wow! I know it's hard traveling, but what beautiful country!
After all, that's why we go outside. Thanks for taking us along!

Thanks for sharing. Pulling a pulk can be heavy work in deep snow. Sounds like you had a good place to hang out tho. Enjoy the pow

Love the fluffy microphone! That hot tent is cool as. I'll be sticking with my hammocks though. lol The good thing about not getting to where you plan to go is that you can go try to do it again some other time. Thanks for the great video, 1960HikerDude, I enjoyed watching it!
Congratulations on getting out for optimal snow conditions. Hopefully it will last for a little while more.
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.
Great video hiker dude! Looks like one of those trips where you just keep learning from and meeting new people and gear is always a plus!
It's not the boulders that throw us off balance, it's the pebbles beneath our feet
Interesting! I was thinking about those tents before we settled on a Motor Home for base camping. They are big enough to use cots in for us creaky folks. Nice video, thanks!
YMMV

That "fluffy microphone" is a Zoom H1 digital recorder with a "dead cat" wind screen. This was my first trip using it. I'm trying to improve the quality of my videos starting with the audio. The cheap camera mic picks up WAY too much background noise and makes me sound like I'm trapped inside a 55 gallon drum.
I'm considering organizing another trip to the Stratton Pond area in April with a second night at Bourne pond.
