Reintroducing myself…. been off the grid for over a year.

Raul's the name… hammock hiking is my game…. well it was

You see I've done some crazy things during my 35+ years of living. One of which was weightlifting, 5 years of football, and over 15 years of full contact fighting (Ryukyu Kempo - Seiyu Oyata's system).

During those times I've taken quite a beating… literally. I've been dealing with some neck problems lately and finally got an MRI. Turns out I have 3 herniated discs in my neck. My right hand goes numb a lot and my left hand has been sporadic with numbness as well. Don't really know how long I've had the herniated discs but one day during weightlifting my right hand went numb so that kinda sparked the journey into WTH was going on.

Those of you know know me…. I'll be back. Aint nothing I can't beat.

Those of you who don't….. beware of the Water Monkey…. for his kilt is magical.

Bumble is friggin huge now. He's as big as I am. And he's got like a 94 average in middle school. The kid is awesome!

Thanks everyone. Miss ya guys I'll be back on the trails this Spring if I play my cards right. My niece is getting into hiking and I want to take her out on her first overnight hang in April.
