Well update from the witch doctors:

3 herniated discs but in reality only 2 would be considered an issue.

The warrior chief danced in a majestic circle while he explained how surgery isn't really on the table at the moment. PT for the next 6 weeks with a steroid for 6 days to relieve any inflammation.

Next step if that doesn't work is to get an injection in my neck which would offer immediate relief.

So now I'm playing the chase the primary care physician game for a GD referral to get to the PT. They were supposed to move my records to the new building next to my home but surprise surprise those administrative assistants never did it and that was 10 days ago.

So now I have to call tomorrow and try not to lose my cool on them to get a referral so I can make my appt for next Tuesday….

And each PT visit is $50…. Thank god Aflac will cover the first 10 sessions.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, it gets over run by a monkey in a kilt.

Welcome back I was wondering where you disappeared too. Take care of the neck and listen to the docs. Perhaps the Mighty Chewie and I will run into you on the trail one day.

Sounds like a rough road ahead bro, though I know you will fight through it.

I just had my third spinal injection, they did not work for me though...hope they do work for you. Keep ya head up....
