    Pisgah Davidson River area info

I am looking for info on a single day hike and hang location. Going to be in Brevard, NC area in Mid-March and i have one night to get out with my Brother, and want to do a 4-7mile hike with a nice hang location. Any suggestions for a must do? Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for out and back or a loop hike? We have hiked several trails there, but we are new to hammock camping. Hopefully someone familiar with both hammocks and the area will chime in.

John Rock. Just a few minuets out of town and plenty of trees and beauty.

Like Chigger said, the John's Rock Loop is great. Just park at the Fish Hatchery parking lot up NC276. Go up 276 until the road splits. Take the left fork and the parking lot will be on the left within a mile of your left turn. Oh forgot to mention this is going out of Brevard, NC....Robert
