    Totally Tubular Tethered Toggles

Sorry for the title. Just goofing off.

I lost some wooden toggles, so I decided to make some out of some aluminum tubing. I've seen were folks have attached these style toggles to the huggers with cord, but I noticed that these huggers would fit inside these large tubes. Just tie a knot on the end to keep it in place. I've not seen toggles rigged like this specifically, so I thought some might like this.

What have you done to my tree huggers ? Great idea - I bet you won't lose them again! That is one of those brilliant, simple ideas that make you say: "why didn't I think of that?"

I wonder if I could roll the webbing on the end of the tree huggers and sew or heat it into a toggle? Toggle-tail tree huggers.

I roll the webbing and push it threw a piece of arrow shaft then melt the end of the web and shape it like a bullet. Works great and very easy.

I like the melted bullet nose idea...will try it.

Squid, I know one suspension set I got from you came with wood toggles, but I ended up with one pair of tubes. Could they have been part of one of the other sets I also bought from you? The ones in the video are a larger ID than those, but the skinny ones could still be used...just not as easily.

Were they black with yellow zing-it loops? If so they are probably mine.
