The thing about your budget is that it basically says you can't afford the going price of reliable tarps - which means you either have to throw money away gambling on tarps in your price range (been there, done that) or save your sheckels and wait. I'd wait - just get by with Wally World blue tarp till then - they work.

No RL seam on an Asym tarp. http://diygearsupply.com/diy-guides/tarps/
I am not doing the exchange for fabric anymore. I do have some tarp blanks that I can sell. Cut for an 11' ridge line hex tarp. Here is what I can do. I have 2 tarp blanks (cut to shape, not sewn) and 7 yards of sil in charcoal gray. I will sell all 3 for $100 shipped. I can even throw in some D rings and reinforcement material.

Thanks for all the replies I am just going to man up and sew the seam and seam seal it to death for piece of mind and make a hex that I will be happy with I already ordered the sil and have 2 spools of gross grain. thanks for the push I needed guys.
Just go slow, make sure there is no fabric under there that shouldn't be there and you'll be OK.
Thanks mrprez
