That mod, is that what makes it look as if the slings are attached to loops in the pic? Also, how floppy is the material? If there's no knotty mod, is that something you could add?

The mod in the whoopie sling is not visible except on close inspection. The hammock picture shown is with continuous loops through the end channels, then hooked to a black whoopie sling. I can add an external knotty mod for $15.
The hammock shown is one with that mod also.
Have not been able to get outside for pix of the one for sale - been dumping snow here for the past 24 hours. Added some from inside and the mod to the whoopies with an explanation of it.
There is some flop without the knotty mod, and I like the external knotty mod because there's less stress on the hammock side hems. Also have found that the continuous loops just add weight, but can put them in at no charge if you wanted them.

Whoopie Sling Mod: pulled about 1.5 inches of amsteel through at the loop - small bulge does not pull through easily.

In the past 12 months, I've made over a dozen hammocks, probably closer to 2 dozen.
This one is set up for about as light as you can make an 11 footer.
I've supplied 4 grand kids with hammocks and some of them have more than one.
Sell them off now and then to raise some $$$ to spend with Scott, Dutch and some of the other cottage vendors around here.
I make a lot of different types in my search for design perfection and comfort.

I've just pulled mine out of the postage bag. It's the brother to this one, and although I won't get a chance to hang it for another few hours, I can say it's great value and I'm very happy.
Another advantage for the current offering is that the knotty mod isn't done yet, doit can be standard or a lefty.
This would be my seal of approval !

1.1 is rated at 200#. Personally, I would avoid it if I were even close to that weight. My thoughts on this particular fabric are around 185 max.
