I'm not going to be able to make it unfortunately. I made it thru the entire winter without so much as a sniffle but now that the weather is finally becoming decent I have a cold. I was really looking forward to this trip, seeing jlink79 again and meeting the rest of you. Oh well.

May you have fair weather & easy trails!

Is 70 east to 77 south to Marietta the quickest way from Columbus? It looks that way, just want to be sure

I'm going 70-77, then get off at 78, and meander down back roads from there.

Did everyone make it home alright.
My calves are killing me to day. I'm going to rate that as some of the most difficult hiking I've ever done.

Yes, driving conditions were bad to say the least. Made me further think we made the right call on what have been a fairly miserable night. I am sore as well, that is not a hike I will soon forget, the difficulty level was about doubled due to the sliding a foot back or forward with each step, depending on if you were hiking up or down hill. I had a good time with the group, so that made it worthwhile.

Made it home at about 11:30. The drive home felt much more dangerous than the hike. I didn't want to, but I took the dog on a three mile run thus afternoon. Really helped work out the soreness after yesterday. I'll write up a trip report in a bit and post it. I had a lot of fun guys!
