Thanks to your review, I have just ordered a UQ Protector that is made of breathable ripstop. I'm pretty excited right now.
Mine is expected midweek. Donna kept me update throughout and answered all my questions. She is a prime reason why cottage vendors are the best.

I have been very pleased with my UQP.
I got the Bridge UQP for $38 - the extra $3 gets you 4 pairs of bridge tie outs that makes it easy to close up the top and bottom of the UQP so it is almost a pod/sock on your gathered end hammock. I just tie a bow with a string to these tie outs to close it up UQP. The center of the UQP can be closed with the shock cord. Nice and easy. I'll try to post some pictures the next time I have it out.

I agree with these reviews. I got my UQP just over a week ago in time for a quick weekend backpacking trip. A pretty good storm hit in the middle of the night, but I slept peacefully knowing that my underquilt would stay dry. Great piece of gear.
Has there been any word on how the multicam prototypes are working out?
