    TQ packed size

Just got tracking on my top and bottom quilts. But I am curious as to the packed size the Owyhee TQ.

We have always though recommended packing with a loose quilt so we oversize the stuff sacks a good bit. That way they have some give to them rather than packing in a tight ball. That lest you pack other gear around them so they fill the volume of your pack better.

I am going to be shooting some videos later this week and planning on one of them discussing the packed size of the various quilts....Well that is if I can get into some trees that are not to deep in snow or mud.

I have an Owyhee TQ (3 season) with Apex climashield and am very happy with it. Mine does pack somewhat smaller than the picture in the thread above.

I like the Owyhee enough that I think an Apex Jarbridge is next on my list.

Well I came to find out that the Ridge Creek UQ will fit into the Kelty 6in x 12in compression sack that compresses to 6x9in. While the Owyhee TQ will fit into the Coghlan's 10L 7in x 16in compression sack, that I can compress down to 9 in.
