I really couldn't say what the bugs might be like, but it might be a good idea to have something on hand if needed.
I haven't used a bug net yet, but I've been fortunate. I've not been in some of the bug infested places I hear some talk about.
There have been a few times I wouldn't have minded having one though.
If you use a net-less hammock you could always use some repellent or a head net.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Ok that was a great trip, everything went fine. It rained for 2 nights and 1 day, so it wasnt to bad. Next time i need to get a pack cover and a rain jacket. At the end of the trip i had atleast 2 people wanting a hammock for the next trip and a few also want to get a kilt now. I loved walking in the kilt.

The walk up Albert mtn, nobo is a killer and the walk from Wesser to NOC isnt fun either.

Ill have some pictures up soon. I took 830 in 6 days, so i need to pick out the good ones.
