My wife's favorite color is purple, and (as you know, since we've already discussed this) it's VERY difficult to find. She has settled for Spruce Green, for now. IMO, the Spruce Green is more vibrant color than the earth tones every body is either trying to find, or stay away from. I think the Spruce is a good middle ground. You still wouldn't stand out, but it doesn't look like a dead leaf, either.

Cute trendy teen girl hammock colors/patterns

Here is a pattern in 100% Poly that would be SOOO much better in Ripstop nylon at only $6/yd. But you may need to buy an entire lot from a manufacturer and tie up a lot of capital.

    https://www.fabric.com/buy/0328832/p...-zig-zag-ocean

Black and White version, also at this retailer, would probably be less risky and more popular.

The Cheerleaders, Drill Team, and other girl's sports teams that can afford it buy matching gear bags in this pattern and all parade around with them with great pride to and from their special locker rooms. OH my rolling eye balls, but girls are just so cute and sweet and grow up so fast. Gotta love it! Cannot put a $ value on self esteem and childhood bonds etc. This is the USA, money is easy and time is flying by. (go live in Haiti or S.A., Africa for a few years if you disagree, God Bless America!)

Point is, this might sell well but I do not have a degree in marketing so i really have no clue. Good luck, and God bless.

Well, we just bought a pink hammock for my wife, and she HAD to have a purple tarp to go with it. We did find some purple silnylon and have ordered it to make her a tarp out of. Next issue is coming. I know she is not going to like my old olive green UQ against her hot pink hammock.

So short answer to your question would be bright, vibrant colors. Pink, purple, lime green.

Women are individuals with individual tastes. Consult the individual specifically. No different than men. I wear bright colors at work, my wife likes bright colors at home. In the woods, we both prefer to blend in. Those are our individual preferences. Stereotyping as to what a gender prefers while holding some validity, ultimately does not serve any one very well.

    Just some thoughts.

My wife is not into pink. I keep threatening to get her a pink camo hammock.

In nature, i like earth tones best, or toned down versions of brighter colors.

I would buy a broken twill weave nylon in any color though.
Still getting the hang of it

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. It's nice to get a different perspective on what people are looking for so that I can try to offer at least some of it. Most of the time I'm an earth tone guy, but brighter colors peak my interest sometimes as well. Especially muted brights like yellow green, burnt orange, etc.

I'll take all the suggestions and make a final decision tonight on new colors of 1.9 oz ripstop to carry. The cupboard is a little bare in that area, so I'm looking to increase the selection there.
