With those poles inserted across the hammock bottom, how is one to use an underquilt for insulation?

    Interesting hammock design.

    Cheers

    Hi Brian,
Please see pic showing a zip-on underquilt. It insulates the bottom and sides, with an air gap created by the fibre glass rods. I actually just use my Thermarest pad to be warm and do not bother with UQ
    Cheers

Site Update - shipping charge to USA reduced

We have updated the Website to reflect the new flat rate for International shipping charges.

Also GST (Tax) is now only calculated on Australian orders and tax free for other International orders. (sorry to my OZ hang Mates...)

Note:- Our introductory discount on hammocks is still happening until 16/03/13.

    Check it out - www.maverickgear.com.au

Hi All, Just to let you know that you can actually use the Maverick hammock like a STD Bridge - if you use a Therm-a-rest or equivalent pad without the base structure, there is no shoulder squeeze. Good for those you want a smaller and lighter pack weight.
