When I'm out hanging everything is different. Night noises in the woods are much nicer than night noises at home. The woods have a better smell than most of our houses. The feel of the outside air is always good whether summer or winter. Even food seems to taste better when one is hanging. As of yet, whomever has been around when I'm hanging has been a great person to share the woods with. The best thing of all is my hammock, love my hammock.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

    Abnormal peace.
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

The friends I have made because of hammocks.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Last summer on the camp site all my friends from 3 tents where spending most of the time under my tarp in the porch mode. Morning toalete, meals, barbecue and just hanging out.

    Everything!
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I feel closest to my Creator when I'm out in the peace and tranquility of his creation.
