New to hammocks and forum

Hello everyone. Retired old dude from Georgia. I just discovered hammocks a couple weeks ago and i love them. I just made my own and one for my daughter and made my whoopie slings. I have posted a couple of times and was welcomed as new member by a couple of members thanks for that. I have been enjoying the forum and have learned a lot from more experienced members thanks for everything. I had rather sleep tween the trees than anywhere else. Slept out last night out in a little hollow by a creek. Sweet. Got a little cold high 30's

Welcome from Cleveland. You should try to come to the Raven Cliffs hang in a few weeks. Lots of great people to swap lies with, and plenty of brains to pick if you want more information.

Welcome aboard from Florida. At our group hangs the most important thing is to just get there. The first year we are pretty lenient with newcomers and are more than willing to share. Now the second year you will probably be expected to contribute. But group hangs are the best option of seeing other rigs and meeting great people of a similar bent.
