    Looking for UQP directions

I've seen them here before but am unable to find them from searching. I have some calendar end Ripstop at 40" width. It's not water proof but should easily repel wind and rain splash up. Used to use it for kite making. Can someone help get me links or just post basic directions and dimensions?

    Thanks

What I did was just a channel on each side (I left the edges raw, but you could make it neat and do nice rolled hems) I then cut a hole in each channel at the center point. I also did a channel on each end. Short pieces of shock cord are in the ends, with a long piece down each side, tied to the end cords, and with a cordlock for adjustment added to the middle, just by pulling a little loop through. Then I tied the end shock cords to prussics on the suspension line. Thats about it. fast, and dirty, as it was kind of a proof of concept. I used 8 feet of fabric, and it ended up just short of the ends of my HH.

due to the width of my fabric (something like 58 inch) it comes up quite high on the sides when I tighten it up, so I could have narrowed it down some. but I can always do that later if it seems to be overkill. The extra little bit of weight isn't that big of a deal to me. heck, two cloths pegs and its a pod!

There is probably a better way to do it, but that's what I did.

Pretty much the same here. Started with a rectangle of fabric. Sewed channels in all four ends and added shock cord. Done. I think mine was about 8ft long as well.
