I'm not going to have any available funds until mid next week, but wanted to post this now. I'm looking for a decent GPS for a few backcountry trips I'm planning this year. I've been eyeing the Garmin Etrex 20, but I'm not married to it.
I prefer to trade, have a ti woodburner/cup combo I can get rid of, as well as a DL netless, a few other things as well. But paypal is an option as well.

I have a Garmin eTrex Venture HC that got somewhat messed up during a Garmin software update. It still works but rather grudgingly. I haven't tried to do another update on it lately. It is yours for the cost of postage.

Calling may be easier than email. I had to send in my 60 CSX for service in January. Calling just seemed much easier to explain what it was doing so that we could trouble shoot first. Ended up solving my problem for $50 after sending it in. Sent on 1/21 and recieved in like new condition on 1/28.
I love my 60 CSX. This is good to know there is hope for it as it ages as has issues.
That's a perfect '800 #' for a locating device. As a kid, I remember my dad asking 'whats your 1020?" over the CB after getting a radio check when we traveled around on vacation.
