    tie down straps

Actually, my other hammock is hanging in the basement on a pair of tie down straps that I swiped from my truck. They still have the hooks on them which fit conveniently over some iron beams. I take naps there all the time and have slept there overnight when we have more company than beds and have had them out on a couple of camping trips. No stretch problems at all. I had purchased some webbing online and that stretched so much that I couldn't use it for my hammock so went back to the tie down straps that didn't stretch at all. I have this new pair that I got which seem fine. I thought of using the buckles that came with them so as not to toss them into the landfill. I am all about recycling/reusing.

If my @$$ gets so big that a couple of 1" straps won't hold me, then I have a more serious problem.

    Thanks for the input guys.
