I just requested a 1/2 day off for Friday. I'm hanging out Friday night even if no one else is!

Ok, guys...every outing I like to do a little something fun. This time, let's do a show and tell - knife edition. Bring a blade that is special to you in some way. One that has a story of some sort that you can share with the group.
I'm looking forward to seeing your knives and hearing your stories!
With beauty all around you, may you walk.
Sounds like I've just drafted a co-worker, so I'm still in but +1 now.

Don't feel out of place. We love to make new-comers feel welcome, and everyone is extremely helpful if you're not quite sure about something.
With beauty all around you, may you walk.
Please don't worry about being the newbie; I still feel like that myself and these guys are the best; no judgement, no competition, just some "real people" with very different lives that share a common love of the outdoors.
A new guy coming actually makes it all even more exciting. Looking forward to meeting you and your friend from work!

I'll try to make it out, mostly just cause I like hiking and I have yet to hike the OT. I'm aiming to hike it in August.
I am making BBQ Spaghetti for this trip and Scotland I am making plenty. Does anyone want this for their meal on Friday night or Saturday. I will bring it to you vacuum sealed. Just let me know who wants some. :-)
