Help with Bungee tie out needed please

    Hi all
I have seen somewhere, (but now I can't find), about a bungee connected to the first part of the tie out from the tarp, that allows self tensioning in windy conditions, if any one has any info please, also what do you guys use in the way of knots or / and hard wear to adjust the tautness of a tie out.
    Kind regards
    Bill

Thats one way, or you can just make loops of the shockcord, attach line locks then your line to the linelocks. It helps to search self tensioning guylines, you'll find many threads on it.

Honestly, my system is stupid simple. It's a looped piece of shock cord (almost a foot long loop), then larks headed to my tarp tie out, then my guylines are larks headed to my shock cord.

It was only done this way because at the time I wasn't quite understanding what some of the others were really doing. It has been working for 3 years now, so I've felt no need to change it

That's pretty much the same as what I was trying to explain, but the linelocks make it super easy to adjust the tension, and it's really easy to add them on to your loops of cord.
