Anybody notice this bit in the detais:

    * Complete With Its Own Suspension System - 100 Inches Of 6mm Super Tough 100% Nylon Climbing Rope Sewn Into Each End
I almost bought one until I saw that part. I think I'll wait until some of early adopters get their hammock and verify how the ends are done. It's not like I really need another hammock anyway....

    EDIT:

    Also available in brighter colors.

It should be interesting. On the main page it says:
    * Compact And Lightweight - Weighs Only 24oz
But when you click on the buy now button, the shipped weight is:
    Weight: 5 lbs.
Then, on the order confirmation it has an item that I can only assume are steel hooks or something that make up the difference in the weights.
    Part No: *
    ***Part of Assembly EWINS 10432***
Like I said, should be fun!
    Trust nobody!

They show quite plainly how the ends are configured. The 100" of rope is the short pieces that are through the sewn channel. It would indeed create a problem if that rope were sewn to the hammock, but it's obviously just a poor description. The photos show that it's exactly like the SB. I'm ordering a couple, so we'll see.

Ok. I'm guilty. I just ordered one also. It will be my first commercially made one. My signature says it all. What is the ETA for shipping on these? anyone know?

    When did you order it?
My knife is so sharp it cut the sixth finger off my right hand! On the plus side, Inigo Montoya no longer hunts me.
