    My new Superfly ridgeline

Not bad for a first timer splicing loops and Stingerz for new Superfly ridgeline.

    Nice job.

Just noticed it looks like a fixed eye at the other end. How are you planning to use that?

I made the line on each end of the tarp 12'. So it will go around tree and tie to Stingerz. If I ever run into the situation where the line is not long enough to double around the tree, the end with the loop can go around the tree and connect to a continuous loop with a Dutch hook that is prussiked on the line. Don't know if it makes sense. If not I can try and draw it.

    Got it--nice idea.

I carry a small (3") continuous loop with a dutch hook on it in my extras kit because they are so darn handy.
I'll remember this as another use if I end up short.
    thanks

Dutch, I gotta say...you seem to be one of the NICEST people around. Always encouraging, very positive, you don't seem to focus on making money so much as helping people. I always enjoy your posts.

Sorry, I know this is off-topic, but I didn't see an "edify a member" section
