Tentipedes?
Draggin'Flyz?
TI-R-FLYZ?
Sting-Bugz (mini-Stingerz)
...
How about a hook to make it easy to clip the whoopee taper end out of the way so it isn't dragging? Call it a "Taperworm".
Oh yeah, is FLYZ an acronym for "Folks Loving Yellow Zing-it?

I think so, that's what held me back from ordering them this time around. If my buddy gets into hanging,I think flys will be my welcoming gift to him and I'll get wasps then. For now I ordered amsteel and hooks to diy some whoopies to hold me over. So much dutchgear I want. Lol
Oh snap. I just ordered my flyz a couple of weeks ago and haven't got to try them out yet. Now they are already obsolete. Not going to give in and order the wasp until I use the flyz at least once or twice. Maybe......
Flyz are so 2013.

Wait,
Hold the presses.
I know we all love Dutch gear. I also know one of the exciting parts of our hammock lives is seeing the genius of Dutch's accoutrement art.
But I don't want to hear anymore buzz about Flyz being outdated or unfashionable.
In the Hammock world Flyz will always be timeless and perfect in design. They are the VW Van, the 57 Chevy, The Beatles before Sgt. Pepper, Happy Days before Chachi, Airstream Trailers, anything designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Snipe Hammock, Nikon Cameras, tube amplifiers, Rocky Road chocolate bars, BIC lighters, and Virgil's root beer.
The Flyz are incredibly small, incredibly light, perfectly functional, easy to use, inexpensive, safe for gear, and packed with the autograph of the artist. If I hear one more dis of the greatest invention of our time, I'm gonna come over there, tie the offending party up with a hank of Zing-It, and make them listen to Miley's Dad Billy sing about his Achey Breaky life until their ears bleed and their sanity oozes out of their nostrils like maggots in a month old pile of fish guts.
Sorry if the analogy is a little stark, I know how people feel about Billy Ray Cyrus.

Tarp flyz are super easy to use. If the wasps are even easier, I don't even know what to think about that.
Hmm, I'm liking my tarp line taut then slide the tarp on prusiks to center it. The wasps need slack in the line until set then tightened? Seems like an extra step.
