I hate that this and John Rock came up on the same weekend. John Rock has become a tradition so we will be going there. I hope you guys have a blast!
With great regret and sadness and due to conditions beyond my control (health) I will not be attending the Roan Cooler. I so much wanted to see Rivendels convertible and show off the 'ROAD' (Roan on a Diet). I will miss you all.

Is there a head count for this trip? I'm planning to do my first forum hang, and trying to decide between Roan High Knob and John Rock. Any advice from the forum?
Darnit, MM, I was really looking forward to hanging with you again. Also wanted to check out that new titanium backpack frame. I hope you recover from whatever ails you, and you're back on the trails soon. I'm also wondering about a head count of folks going up there. It seems gravity is pulling a lot of folks to John Rock.

As per earlier post, I'm still dealing with a back problem and won't make this one either. PT, epidural injection, and the chiro have yet to make the disc move, but progress is coming.

As far as the hang I guess we should do a head count given the close proximity of the Clinch paddle...so if you're still wanting to do this one chime in so we can make a decision on it..so we can concentrate our resources on the Paddle..
