Thumbs up Thanks for the hard work!

I just wanted to thank the tech-team for all the hard work and the long hours they are putting into this upgrade.

Writing, or even adapting, forum templates is a PITA (I live to tell the tale). Upgrades, however carefully planned, never go as expected. Bugs will pop up and magically duplicate once fixed. And users, even the polite and friendly bunch of 'em here, will have to get used to the change and complain until they do.

We will get used to it. The bugs will be fixed. The upgrade will be done. It will all work out.

    Thank You!
Still getting the hang of it

Thanks to everyone for your support. This upgrade was a long time coming. We upgraded from version 3.8.7 to version 4.2.2! The old software the forum was running on was released on 28 February 2011 and that was a maintenance release. That means active development had long since ceased. This is part of the reason why we had such a long and bumpy upgrade process. Many of the plugins and local customizations such as the photo gallery, media gallery, themes, and others are also no longer being actively maintained.

    Thanks for your support!
