Thank you, I just had my questions about Argon answered.
My experience with snaps is they tear out easily if not supported properly. At one time I made shirts for my husband, I used snaps instead of buttons. If I did not put a firm material such as grosgrain ribbon as a backing (sandwiched between the fashion fabric the snaps would rip out right away).

AYCE at thru-hiker.com has been doing this (selling extreme quality DIY hiker gear) for a long time, and he probably has more knowledge about the fabrics available for making quilts than any single person on earth. He has had at one time or another several other products than silnylon for his DIY quilt kits. Currently Momentum is the best he will sell to his customers. I have been extremely happy with my momentum quilt. Before you buy, check with him, he's friendly and will respond to emails, about fabrics. If there is something out there equivalent to momentum he knows about it, and he knows the pros and cons.
Snaps bad, velcro good.
By the time you add some reinforcement fabric for snaps, you just blew past the weight budget for an ultralight quilt ....
As just jeff used to say, ounces to grams...
So what's the difference between UL Argon and Argon CS90
ul argon is 10 d is now ripstop and 69. oz. per square yd, cs90 double ripstop ( two reinforcing threads intead of one in ul argon)and is 20 d and .90 oz psy.
