Welcome fellow Texan, from the Austin area
Hey! Glad to have you hanging around. Sounds like the AR Hang, got over Saturday night with bad weather setting in?
I've canoed the Buffalo from Kyles to Tyler bend last year. Tyler Bend to the White river/Buffalo city the year before. Did a hike with some folks from here, on the Eagle Rock Loop also. Nice places to be.
If I do the Buffalo again, I'm taking a machete! The eastern half doesn't have any camp grounds, so you have to "hang" down near the river OR hack down some of that river grass stuff to get up into the trees.

Welcome (you could easily get confused between your name and where you are, lol). A group hang is a wonderful way to enter the forum!
