    My 11' tablecloth hammock

Just finished my 11' tablecloth hammock. I cut it down to 70" wide to see how that works out. Lots of flappy material but that does not bother me. Gathered ends with whoopie slings, structural ridgeline at 108". I copied the stuff bag from my ENO from material i cut off from width. Color is called sage green but it looks like sage on LSD. have not slept in it yet but it seems really comfortable laying in it. gonna give it a few night use then see if i want to adjust length or width any.

Nicely done, just bought some table cloth today. Wondering what are people using for a ridgeline. I have never used one with my ENO, probably because I didnt know what it meant until I joined this forum. I am excited to play with the different lengths to see what I like the best. If you bought from tableclothsfactory it is 20% cheaper through their mobile site instead of their full website.

    Looking good, well done.

If the sag or lay don't feel quite right, consider using an adjustable ridgeline to help dial it in that last bit.
Also, there is something called a knotty mod, running a bit of shockcord through the edge seam, to help take up some of the slack if the edges are too floppy for your liking.

Wow, incredibly small. I missed the part about the material of the tablecloth. Good job.

I made my boyfriend the same hammock for Christmas, he loves it so far. Just hanging in the basement waiting for the snow to melt...

    Nice job looks great.
Couple comments, for an 11' hammock shouldn't the RL be 110"-112" also I'll second the suggestion for a Knotty Mod.

Started out with 11' table cloth. Finished hammock is around 10' 8" due to end gathering. I did not think there was an absolute rule for ridge lines. Whatever works, works, but the 108 is pretty close to the 83%. Anyhow i am in it now and it is doggone comfy. A little chilly out at 42 degrees. why is there not a degrees symbol on iphone. Dang it now i gotta pee.

Nice rig, I too ordered the sage and it looks like a toxic green my wife likes it so it is hers. I do the knotty mod on all my table clothes and it really helps with any flop in the material.

I am sorry I did not mean to come across as you broke some kind of rule.
It was just a suggestion to experiment with the RL length.
Hang your own hang. I prefer no RL myself on a netless hammy the pro's don't out way the cons for me.
