The yellow guy line I got from Warbonnet is a lot different than the zing it I got from Dutch. The stuff from Dutch feels much more like amsteel material and I believe it is the true zing it. I found the Warbonnet line to be much more difficult to splice (the weave isn't very tight) and it felt a lot more like plastic overall.
Edit - i felt i should add that Warbonnet doesn't advertise their line as zing it, and it does feel like very strong line. it's just not m preference.

Our guyline is not samson brand, it's a generic single braid dyneema with urethane coating added for stiffness and color (i think samson's is coated with something similar)... never tried splicing anything that small, but it's working very well for us, it's nice a stiff so it doesn't tangle easily and has great abrasion resistence
What is the weight of the Warbonnet line? It's not listed on the site that I can find.
Not that it matters, since I already ordered a spool, but curiosity is like an itch.

He just replied previously that he is not selling Samson Zingit. It's a similar line but not actual Zingit.
I can say that the Warbonnet Guy line is quite stiff at first. I made my guy lines out of it and it did splice quite well. I had about 4-5' left over from the spook and made about a 2' dog bone to practice splicing and knots. After handling for a while, tying and untying, it softened up quickly to about the feel of am steel. It works great for me, and just be sure to run your bury a couple of inches past your tail just to make sure that the tail doesn't work a free end back out. But the stuff is great! I agree that the only regret that I had was that I didn't order more.
