Gutermann Thread Onsale at Jo Ann Fabrics

I saw at my local Jo Ann Fabrics today and saw the 250m spoils of Guterman thread onsale for $1.49, 50% off retail. It should be good until the 14th. A good deal for thread where you only need a little of a color or two.

    Thanks for the heads up.

On a somewhat related note, are bobbins just one size (standardized)? So I could have a lot of bobbins stored with different colored thread?

I learned the hard way that they are not. They are shaped just a little different. I would take in the one for your machine, or look in the manual.

Bobbins also have different widths. I too learned the hard way. I tried to use a bobbin from my singer in my viking. The viking got very mad, at me.

Im no toughman, but I dont scare easily. However, I dont think I would like to have a Viking mad at me. That could be a challenge worthy even for the maglite.

Yeah, singers you can just slap them in the mouth and they will shut up, but vikings have spikes on there helmet.
