I may make it. I will have a week to recover from the bike tour and three or four weeks to prepare for my month on the AT.
I won't commit until the bike ride is over.
(Don't see how I can say "no" though. ;-)

We are watching this thread. I have to consult the scout calender. I think I'm camping with the boys that weekend.

Just had a bad week with my Grandmother passing and I've been sick many days, even today. I will put this on the "Hope" list and try to go. There are some sticks there that I haven't burnt yet.
Also, the nights for that weekend seem to be...not too shabby.

We are a no go. Sorry I would love to spend some more time with all of our hammock friends. But our commitment to help the youth comes first.
Sorry that some won't be able to make this hike and hang as it may be the last of the season for most of us. Lifescout the youth come first, we need some of them to replace those us of limited time that have a love and understanding of the beauty of nature.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Well, so far the weather looks agreeable for the weekend with a chance of rain Friday and temps generally around 80 for highs and around 60 for lows. I can live with that

FloridaHanger, sorry about your grandmother...with you in spirit, m'Friend.
Moving to new house first 2 weeks of April, so no time to come visit y'all in the trees...think of you often, though!

Thanks. Ita was a wonderful woman. She was our little Mother Teresa for anyone who met her. We miss you and Duffy as well around the fire.
Still on the fence whether I can make this hang. Trying to iron out some issues.
