After much reading and videos, I made up my mind. I just placed an order for a Warbonnet Ridgerunner (did adj straps) with the sandrift sock and Cloud Burst tarp. I want to thank everyone for their advice and recommendations on the various questions I've had. Being in Texas I won't have to address the winter gear for a while, so that's good. This is my first venture into hammock camping, pretty excited to get it, check it out and use it.
You will LOVE this setup. Add in a Lynx underquilt whenever you need bottom insulation. I have two full setups (one for me and one for my son). I made a DIY Lynx underquilt for his.
You will love it. And when the time comes the Lynx will fit it like a glove. I could not sleep on my side in it, just didn't work for me but you couldn't ask for a better bridge hammock. I switched to the WBBB XLC and found one that worked for me. Good luck.
