    Tyvek Stick-on Grommets?

I searched around a bit but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I saw some stick on tyvek grommets http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/251378419172?lpid=82 like these. They look like they are based on tyvek tape so if they tear out I could replace them. they seem like a good option. Should I even bother?

Also, I was condidering something like
    http://www.tarpaflex.com/acatalog/su...-grommets.html
    or
    http://dutchwaregear.com/clip-on-tarp-pull-outs.html

    Any opinions on the matter?

What is the purpose of the grommets on your Tyvek?
What kind / how much load would the grommet be subject to?
How are you using the Tyvek?
Maybe if you answers this, there can be some good input.
    Happy to help..

If you've a bit of Tyvek tape and Tyvek cuttings (used USPS envelope?), you could make your own like grosgrain tie outs (loops)?

haha, i guess i could have mentioned that the tyvek is going to be used as a 9'x11' tarp. i need a few tieouts and was just wondering how to go about doing that. It would not be subject to a heavy load as the tarp will be draped over a non-structural ridgeline.

I used the gromets you are talking about on my tyvek tarp they work great. I had a problem on the ridge line ends,I decided to reinforce those with gorilla tape no more problems have used in cold ,hot and wet weather for a year now.

I went to JoAnns Fabric and bought a grommet kit. Then I just installed grommets directly to the Tyvek ground sheet. You do have to be careful "setting" the grommets so you don't cut thru the Tyvek. But that worked fine for me.

I've put plastic grommets in, and used extra small TYVEK pieces to reinforce the grommet hole area, both above and below the grommet hole. Works well.

@BackpackerGuy, that sound like a good idea too. I'm going to have a few feet of left over tyvek so I could try that out. worst comes to worst I just find some pebbles and tie it off.

    by the way, nice quote.
