    Buginator help

I installed a new Bugianator on a 10 ft Free bird hammock this weekend. I followed the instructions on the BIAS website. However, when I got in the hammmock, the bottom of the bugnet and entry hole were about 18 inches below the bottom of the hammock. The top was sitting on the hammock's ridge line. I snugged the entry bungee but did not over-tighten. The hole closed to the size of a dinner plate. What prevents the skeeters from entering this hole. As I mentioned, its about 18 inches below the bottom of the hammock/quilt. Tnx in advance.

I actually make these to fit our 11ft hammocks, but have had several order them for shorter ones. The netting should still "seal" around the edge of the hammock. Are you looking at the "sag" from the outside, or are you in the hammock? Feel free to give me a call tomorrow evening. I have also made several shorter nets from customers dimensions.

I was looking at it from the outside while my son was in the hammock. I didn't know it was made for 11' hammocks only. I didn't notice that in the product description when I ordered. Id reckon that would make the difference.

    Hey,
IF you read this post, Brian has been great about contacting me and finding a solution to my problem. As far as I'm concerned, it's just one of those things. It's made for an 11' hammock and I was trying to use it on a 10' hammock. Since it's for my son, I"ll probably just order another new one and keep this one for the 11' hammock that is my future. I now have the justification to move that purchase higher on the priority list, right?
Just wanted to give a shout out to Brian for his response last night.
