First think of this knot as two knots on top of each other, a carrick bend, then the rest of it, which is one more wrap and out through the center.
Start with this. Carrick Bend
Click on the "structure" tab so we are starting from the same place. Then, if I remember correctly
-Take the green working end and wrap counterclockwise over blue standing part, (under the left side of the knot), then up through the hole in the center.
-Take the blue working end and wrap counter clockwise over the green standing part, (under the right side of the knot), and up through the hole in the center.
It helps if you allow the standing parts to rotate "vertically" while performing these last steps. By vertically, I mean into the screen in the photo on the website. Leave yourself plenty of tail/working end at first. You always have to work the knot into position. It forms a symmetrical "basket" prior to working the knot tight.
The carrick bend is an "over-under-over-under" type knot. If you don't have that to start with, it will not turn out correct.
