    hammocks for stomach sleepers?

I've noticed that on almost all the reviews I have read of various hammocks they say they are built for sleeping on your side or back, but not your stomach. Is this the case with them all?

Look at the Bridge Hammock. They are designed to allow for a flat sleep surface when hung tight.
    I sleep in the trees.

The bridge hammock is best for stomach sleeping, the problem you will run into if you are a bigger person is the narrowness of bridge hammocks

The bridge will work for stomach sleeping. However, placement of the arms can be a problem for most of us. Using an inflatable pad in the bridge hammock it will make it feel wider and will help with stomach sleeping.

I love my JRB bridge hammock ,but sleeping on my stomach in it is beyond uncomfortable. It's like your in a straight jacket.

don't assume you'll need to sleep in the same positions you do in a bed. hammocks are alot different and you'll likely wind up using different positions

Hammocks are also for side sleeping, fetal position sleeping, and half-twist-at-the-waist-one-knee-tucked-other-toe-pointed-with-bent-arm-behind-your-head sleeping. It's also possible to sleep on your back *and* on your side, at the same time.

I toss, turn and roll, and mostly sleep on my side when in bed, but in the hammock I sleep comfortably on my back all night long. It's a different experience.

Is THAT ever a good point!

Normally, I can ONLY sleep on my left side, or even partly on my stomach, but, when I tried out HappyCampers BB, I found I was extremely comfortable in positions I really didn't think I could ever sleep in again! That was really wonderful!
