I've always used full length UQ's, but recently decided to give torso lengths a try. But I'm having a lot of trouble getting the quilt to snug up against my back when I'm hanging. Any tips, tricks and suggestions that will help?
Thanks!

I don't think it has to do with partial vs. full length. It's probably just a matter of getting all the shock cords tensioned correctly. These are issues that any new quilt would have.

first, make sure you are using 1/8'' or bigger shock cord- if your'e using thin SC it could sag creating cold gaps. dont use the end tensioners (if your uq has them) until your quilt is hung tightly ( it should acually support the empty hammock) THEN when in the hammock cinch up the end cords just enough to seal any gap- dont over tighten then as that will make a pocket of cold air the entire length of the quilt. just my exeperiances.
