Where's the "I'll take it?" Per rules, still technically available for claim.

Post 35 is where you can find the claim for the HHSS. And just for fun I pasted the quote below. Hope this helps.

You know what they say..."Go big or go home!". Hope to be spending a lot more time on the forum and learning from everyone. Can't say I can contribute much at this point. Hoping my future posts don't cost as much.

Spaceman has withdrawn his offer to purchase.

Hammock and Tarp are still available.

Total noob here, just registered yesterday and spent HOURS trying to figure out what a good beginner set up would be. In your opinion would this be good for someone just starting to get off the ground? Can't wait to hang.

I am unsure that any hammock in and of itself is really best suited for a beginner. A man or woman with reasonable logic, dexterity, and a little knowledge easily scored from this great website should be able to setup any rig with 2 exceptions, those folk who hang high in the trees and the nuts who hang off cliffs.

That said, the HH rig was my 2nd, it served me well for the few times I used it. However I wanted to try other options and experiment with a few diy ideas. The HH is a fine product constructed with rock solid materials and fine engineering. The HH Explorer with the stock tarp and or the monsoon tarp would be fine 1 rig for anyone to use hiking or camping.

There is a wealth of information on this site, dig in and enjoy the best free resource for hammocking info on the web. Also you will find that a majority of folk in this site act as though hammocks are much like lays potato chips, you can't just have one. Good luck your choice really comes down to your camping style, budget, and time frame. There are also threads on that subject.
