Took advantage of the Spring Sale and purchased a Hennessy Hammock System

I just purchased the Explorer Deluxe Hammock with the 70D Hex Fly along with the 50% off Super Shelter system. It looked like a good deal. This will be my second hammock and will be for my wife.

When I first went to purchase the system, I saw that I would be charged in US dollars and there would be a credit card conversion fee. Being Canadian I was a tad disappointed that this would occur when purchasing from a Canadian company. I sent in an email, and they wrote back within minutes saying if I called in, I could make the purchase in Canadian dollars at par. Now that is great and fast customer service!

Now I just need the snow to disappear. It was -21°c this morning when I woke up - still too cold for me to consider sleeping outside and enjoy myself!

Totally worth it, I'm using the HHSS with my ULBP and love it. I tested it to -5C last week and was cozy (used a poncho liner, cut to the same size as the UC to enhance). Love the product and the simplicity of the system.

I have a family car camping trip planned for the May long weekend to Achray Campground in Algonquin Park. The two kids will be in a tent while the wife and I will be in our hammocks. Really looking forward to our first camping trip of the year.

We borrowed our neighbor's Hennessy Explorer Deluxe with Super Shelter last summer a couple of times and my wife really enjoyed it (and it really is a simple system to hang!). I have been waiting for this Hennessy sale since last summer so I am glad it finally happened.

Seems like the thing to do. Like feeding Vaal. I just went whole-hog. Asym Zip, storm canopy, over cover, supershelter, got the snakeskins and water thingies, and it's coming Saturday!
