I just finished a tarp with this stuff. Man, it is amazing material. So slippery, but not terrible to sew. Really strong too. I'll post up a write up in DIY probably tomorrow. I gotta hang this this thing outside and get some pics!

Looking forward to some opinions on the strength on this. I did an Argon summer top quilt and really like it. Just ordered some Argon Sil and looking at doing a new tarp.

STRONG. I strung that thing really tight. It's double ripstop. I am quite certain that stuff can take a beating. I bounced around in the hammock made out of the non-sil treated Argon 90 some more and that thing is still going strong.

    That's a great endorsement.

    Thanks, Country.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16 NIV)

He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 ESV)

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3 ESV)

Dutch, thanks for investing a small fortune to get us better pricing. I can't wait for mine to get here tomorrow. Just wish I didn't have so many things on the farm to do. I can't wait to inject some threads into that stuff :-)

The story of my life. Just bought 5 yards of K-Kote from Seattle Fabrics...at twice that price.

Hey all.I am really considering using Argon sil for new tarp. For those that have used this fabric in tarps, how is it behaving in high winds, compared to 1.1 silnylon?

Also i assume unlike cuben it blocks all the sun.
