Never thought I'd say this, but I'm selling my G4 DIY Pack, it is too heavy! I have created a lighter pack (10.1 oz), so my G4 weighing in at 17.1 oz is going on the block.
The G4 is developed with all the pattern pieces straight from the kit, I have added a couple enhancements here and there, such as sternum strap, paracord loops for tie-out items, daisy chain loops on the hip belt sides for additional pockets or containers, and center mesh pocket loop for keeping pocket tame. I have less than 40 miles total on the pack, nothing at all wrong with it, I am just gravitating to more defined-purpose gear. I also have a habit of fine tuning my gear to the point where I have way too many of each, and the storage space is filling up. Sit pad not included, I now am using 4 panels worth of Z-Lite pad, fits perfect.
